@plantLoveLife I'd say the more light the better. I had a few spider plants that I put in my greenhouse and they all have put off at least 5 or 6 spikes with baby spider plants within 2 months. Also mine didn't need to get too bushy till they gave off spikes, I'd suggest regular watering (once a week) and bright sun. Then it usually doesn't take long for them to grow spikes!
I donโ€™t see it listed in your oasis with its proximity to a window. We would need more information on how close to a window and what direct the window is facing.
@plantLoveLife Where your plant is now I'd say is a pretty good spot, it looks like it's getting a good amount of sun, but sometimes, If a spider plant doesn't get enough light, it gets yellow leaves and doesn't look real pretty... But I'd say your plant is looking pretty good where it's at!๐Ÿ‘
@luvmygreenhouse thanks a lot... I liked your answers and kind helpful approach. does spider plant love root bounding? I heard that they produce babies when they are root bound
@Just1More thanks for your comment. this is 6 feet away from the south facing window actually
Iโ€™m thinking if you would like those books, it might be a good idea to put that plant in a saucer.
Regardless of popular opinions They do love some direct sunlight as all plants ๐Ÿชด
Yes spider plants love to be potbound @plantLoveLife
@plantLoveLife My experience has been that they don't like to be pot bound for too long. I almost killed one that way...
I had a spider plant in medium/low light, it really did not do well and kept losing leaves until I gave it a grow light. I definitely recommend more light for bigger leaves and healthier growth.
