avocados are biologically fruits. Even weirder, avocados are actually single-seeded berries in the same family as sassafras, the bay laurel, and various species of cinnamon tree.

@MariansOasis Well! I planted him into a nursery pot because his roots outgrew the cup of water he was previously in, now all I have to do is wait and see when the sprout will come through.

No😊 I have English Laurel and my arborist told me avocado trees are in the Laurel family which was a big surprise.
