Hi! Can you post a current photo of the plant you need help with? It will help us help you 😊
Hi Tammie - welcome to Greg! Pothos need to be in a well draining pot- pot with holes on bottom. soil needs to be a good draining soil also- add Prlite, Coco Coir, horticultural sand (tiny pebbles), even orchid bark- all of the help provide good drainage. Once you get in good pot and soil- you only need to water ever 1 week to 10 days depending on your weather. If you stick your finger 1-2 inches down in the soil and it’s dry- water. If the soil is moist- do not water. You are over watering your Neon and that could lead to root rot and could kill it. Also, if you could put in an East facing window- but not direct light, it should be good.
Yeah, I second what Shannon @BabeVila) said. We need a picture. Your description sounds like a bacterial infection from root rot, but it could be something completely different.
Is the photo in the box your plant? It looks like it is outside... Which maybe is my mistake. But if the little hole that's brown is what you mean... Perhaps it's sunburnt. Mine do that from time to time if the sun directly bores a hole in them
