Should I let the spathes bloom or chop?
#BlackVelvetAlocasia
I have a few spathes coming up every now and then on different elephant ears. I am wondering if there is any purpose in keeping them if they are indoor plants? They are for pollination and seeds when outdoors right? Thanks for any help.

3ft to light, indirect

4โ pot with drainage

Last watered 1 month ago
David, you can of course do as @Araceae suggested, however, if that's not your thing you can remove them whenever you want. They drain a lot of energy from the plant so I usually leave them for a couple days and then cut them off as close to the base as you can get.
