Need help, where do I trim??

Hellooo! So this orchid lost its blooms just a while back, and I’d been waiting to trim it because I really didn’t know exactly where to trim at. As you can see, I trimmed off of the newer stalk above the last node, but I’m unsure on if I’m supposed to actually trim lower than that—above the first node on the original stalk (where the red line is on the last picture) #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #OrchidLovers #PhalaenopsisOrchid #Phalaenopsis #Orchid #NewPlantMom #PetsAndPlants #PlantCorner #BeforeAndAfter #PlantLove #PlantMoms
4ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage

@pinkmilk Hi Taylor, sometimes new buds will appear on an old stalk so some people will leave the stalk until it starts to turn brown and die. However if you wanted to remove the whole thing you would cut it off at the base and when it's time for it to bloom again it will grow a new stalk.
@pinkmilk I believe you did it right! Oftentimes new spikes will grow from the nodes, so if you cut above the node but below where the bottom flower was 🌺
@princesspitstop oh hiiiii 😂🫶🏼
@princesspitstop Thank you so much for your tips! <3
@DreamMachine Thank you so much for letting me know! <3
Taylor, a couple of questions if I may. Is your bloom stake flexible? I mean can you change the shape of it? And secondly if it does, please tell me where I can aquire them! I have the bamboo supports which don’t make draping easy. 😮‍💨
@HolyLacealoe Hellooo! So I actually purchased this orchid from my local Kroger (if I’m remembering right) and it came with the stake! But unfortunately, it is nOT flexible and just came shaped that way!—bUT I wish you the best in finding some for your plants, that would be awesome! <3
