You'll want to make sure to keep a close eye on your fern when you move it out, though it's possible.

They love high humidity and don't want direct sun so dry + direct sun = a crispy plant very quickly.

Start by bringing it out in the shade for a few days, then just a few hours of morning for or evening sun for a few days, etc. It usually takes a week or two for the plant to adjust without getting sunburn.

Then, just make sure it's getting enough water.
I think it should be fine indoors: they barely need any light at all and it might be safer to keep it inside of you live somewhere hot. I keep mine on the top of a shelf and they seem very happy. They also need tons of water so be careful about that if you do decide to put it outside.
