Stressed Plant
Hi guys! So I got this Adansonii sent to me yesterday from Florida to NY, it had a hot pack. I assumed it was limp from moving stressed, however, it's today and it hasn't perked up. I haven't done anything to it, should I just let it be and wait for it to or take action? I dont want to be too late if i do have to. #adansonaii
I like to be sneaky and pull a new baby out of the pot so I can look at (and sniff) the roots too. Sheβs probably ok but roots should be white and yellow, and firm.
Also when did she ship? Those hot packs are usually good for three days (I hate it when sellers ship plants at the end of the week).
In my opinion WORST CASE is you lose some of the leaves but she bounces back in time! π±βοΈβ€οΈ

I canβt be sure from the picture, but it doesnβt look like thereβs any soil in the pot? If there isnβt, def make sure to have some type of substrate covering the roots. 50/50 potting soil and perlite would be ideal, but just about anything will work. If you do have to add potting mix, lightly water it and then leave it alone in indirect light & it will be good in a few weeks. They just have to get used to your environment!
@RootedFS and @PlantMompy I didn't notice that at first, you're both right there's virtually no soil and it looks really cramped in that pot.
What do you think @PlantMompy I feel it should it be re-potted
