Nice cutting! You want to let the wound callus. If you have a hormone powder you can dip the end (not essential, just if you have it) and then pot the cutting in a well-draining soil mix. Wait 3-5 days to water and then water. Once the roots established you can water normally. 💚✨
Awesome! 🙌🏽 That's just like other succulent stem props I've done. Just wanted to be sure there wasn't something unique about the Crown of Thorns — they look so different! 🙂 The stem is already calloused as she was hacked off by gardners over two weeks ago and was dangling by a thread to the mother plant. She's prolly very very thirsty by now and ready to rock in her new home! Maybe water sooner than later in that case? What do you think? [Edited for typos]
