@BroadmindedCat5 welcome to Greg, Shannon! I completely understand the sentiment of wanting to be surrounded by beautiful plants!
First of all, does your pot have drainage? Thatβs key for most plants to survive. Also, I zoomed in on your soil, does the existing soil have chunky pieces yo create airy soil? If not this may be your problem. Most plants are some version of tropical and in their natural environment have a forest floor to drain away excess water and to make their surroundings have this light, chunky, airy texture to help the roots breathe.
You can take the existings oil and add perlite to it. Or, of youre all in on this plant thing, you can make your own substrate by combining some ingredients. Also, on Greg, if you respond to someone, tag them, otherwise we will never know as the app doesnβt notify if you donβt. π€·πΌββοΈ Good Luck!π

It is definitely overwatered. She need to dry out COMPLETEY!
Try to not water by a schedule and instead take your finger and stick it as far into the pot as you can. If it feels moist or damp don't water yet. Wait a few days and then check again.
Just like @TheOddAsity said they need drainage and won't tolerate wet feet.
I would add 50% aeration to the soil with bark, perlite, or pumice.
Also, add a moss or coco coir pole, they absolutely love them. They are a rough texture so the replicate a tree in nature. Because in nature they climb up trees to get through the tree canopy.
So giving them will boost the growth she will want to climb it. You can attach it with some lose twine, in time she will be attached herself with her Ariel roots.
And don't worry too much they are referred to as devils ivy because they are hard to kill. So you made a great choice for a beginner.
You got this! β€οΈ And don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions. There are no bad questions. Except the unasked one. πΏ
You're not a plant killer just learning it takes time, so just don't give up.
