I got this delivered and the leaves were smooshed. I plan...

#FiddleLeafFig
10ft to light, indirect
14” pot without drainage
Last watered 4 weeks ago
Well that doesn’t look good. It almost looks frozen. What did the roots look like when you repotted? Is the stalk mushy to the touch? What do the leaves feel like? I’m thinking it could have gotten frost or heat damage during travel. I can’t tell from the photo. I’d start by putting it in a warm steam bath in bathroom with the door closed. Run the shower with hot water for about 10 mins while the plant sits on the sink or atop of the toilet with the door closed. Turn the water off and leave the plant in the bathroom with the door closed for awhile like 30 mins. Maybe that will relax the leaves so you can get a better look but I would be requesting a replacement plant. It should look more like the photo of mine.
Hi there, if the stats for your plant here are correct, beyond just needing to adjust to its new conditions, I would offer a word of caution: your new baby really needs a pot with drainage, especially if you’re a new plant parent. A pot without drainage is a sure fire way for your new plant to get root rot and die. I would also suggest that 10 feet from the window is most likely too far away for adequate light for your baby. I usually supplement using a good quality grow light - the bulb kind that you can insert into a standard lamp fixture. Especially for figs, which require more light than plants like monsteras and pothos. So I would definitely either move this much closer to the window or set up a grow light πŸ’‘ Best of luck with your baby! 🌿🌿🌿
