New FLF growth
This is my first fiddle and it just started shooting out new leaves. Is it normal for new growth to be spotted like this?

The red spots are known as edema caused by too much water which essentially bursts some of the plants cells
Don't panic too much, as the leaf matures this should disappear. Just be a bit careful about overwatering. FLF's are kind of like the baby bear of the plant world, they prefer soil moisture to be not too wet and not too dry, just right.

Thank you! I bottom watered last week and let it soak for a while and then drain. I’ll try a shorter soak next time!
