What is the impact of an incandescent lightbulb "flashing...

So, this lamp in my room kind of "flashed out." Here's a long explanation (not necessary to read).

So, this lamp is connected to the wall of my room but has a wire that runs down and connects to a socket. There is a light switch near the doorway that allows the light to turn on by pressing it.

So, I walked in and turned on the light. I looked toward the direction of the light, expecting it to turn on like normal. Instead, I see a bright (and I mean BRIGHT, like a grow light or the sun) flash, then it immediately goes out.

Can this affect plants at all? If so, what is the impact? Right now, it's dark, and the flash was very bright, so I am a little worried that it could have done something to my houseplants.

Your bulb just diedβ€”no biggie. It wouldn’t have done anything to your plants. Also, plants are much more resilient than we think them to be. It sounds like you just need to get a replacement bulb :)
Sounds like your bulb blew. It won’t bother your plants at all.
Apart from a sudden wtf? from your plants, no
Nah, the flash was too brief to do anything. Plants are a lot hardier than we give them credit for.
