Oh! @TheOddAsity is the gal to talk to!
Thanks@for the tag Elise! @elisenavidad
@Mis.Conduct so these guys are succulents. They need to mostly dry out between waterings. Greg is AI and learns from you. If your plant is wet, donβt water, snooze. Just wait for it to be dry about 75% of the way. They also have shallower roots systems. They also need full sun. I donβt know if your plant card is correct but it shows 20 ft from light? Grow lights are cool, but arenβt as strong as what they need. When I water, I turn the water on to a TRICKLE and try to water where I see soil, so it absorbs right in. You donβt want water hanging out around the pearls. As they can rot.

To hang on the coat tails of @TheOddAsity, that shrivel in the pearls is indicative of over watering. I killed mine with the same mistake π unlike non succulents, this indicates that the cells were overfilled with water and died. If you look closely, you'll see a little slit of lighter green on them. Those help with photosynthesis, but will close when the plant is thirsty to conserve water. Overall, it's way more detrimental to over water than to under water. They can handle drought, but are highly susceptible to drowning!
They look over-watered & need more sunlight but def NOT full sun, especially the variegated variety. SOPβs can take some direct gentle sun (maybe more if your window glass is tempered) but they prefer mostly very bright indirect light. Also for indoor SOPβ I suggest only bottom watering as the pearls do not like to stay wet. A fan also helps. Put them no more than 12 inches from an east or southern window and use a sheer curtain to diffuse intense sunlight if needed. The pearls will turn brown if they get too much strong sun light.
Because it had so much water when u purchased her , u probably shouldnβt water for a while
