#Pinguicula question: What is the best type to get?

I live in an area with lots of sun, lots of trees, lots of bugs, freshwater lakes, and boys that have no concept of shutting the doors. I have flies and fruit flies (and wasps and dirt daubers and horseflies- but I think those are too big for the little plants) zone 7b

Thanks, y'all!!

I have an Aphrodite and 2 Moranensis. The Moranensis I hear is easier than other types and less finicky. But my Aphrodite is the same. They’re great for fruit flies and small gnats. And very cute!
@nila ooh! The Moranensis are beautiful!
@sarahsalith They’re so cute! Pirouettes are also so beautiful!
@nila woah!!
@nila where did you get your pings?
@sarahsalith i got them from https://instagram.com/pings_and_things

She lives in Abbotsford, BC which is not too far from me so I was able to pick it up. She did mention she delivers but I’m not sure if it’s locally only or not.
@nila wow! She has so many!!
@sarahsalith she does! She’s got some really great varieties. I bet she’ll be able to help answer some of your questions as well! She helped me a lot when I was trying to decide which ones to get.
What are these plants?? Do they attract and kill the bugs 🐛 I’m so intrigued
@Jilliebeanstalk I think they do! I think they secrete a sweet smell that attracts bugs. Kind of like an unattended glass of wine.

I know my pitcher plant ALWAYS has flying bugs in it. Wasps, flies, gnats, dirt daubers - you name it.

My Venus fly trap rarely catches anything.

But I really want to get some pings.
@sarahsalith me freaking too. And the cuteness of them helps. Going online shopping right meow 😸
