Hi guys! I just purchased Rafiki last week from a local nursery. Looking closer she has some spots that appear black/brown but when held against light are actually see through, and there’s some yellowing on a few leaves. soil was dry but not parched. Help!

Hi Marieke, don't worry! It's common for new plants to experience some adjustment. Those see-through spots might be old damage, but keep an eye on them. Yellowing leaves could indicate over or underwatering. Check the soil moisture; it should be slightly damp but not soggy. If it's dry, water thoroughly. If it's wet, let it dry out a bit before watering again. Ensure your Swiss Cheese Plant gets bright, indirect light and avoid cold drafts. If the yellowing persists, consider repotting it with fresh, well-draining potting mix.
