What is wrong with my snake plant? He’s looking very yell...

#SnakePlant
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 4 days ago
This is actually a Dracaena not a snake plant.Sorry but not sure which Dracaena it is.
It's a Dracaena fragrans, Cornstalk Dracaena. Not a Snake Plant, Sansevieria. How's the humidity?
Maybe needs a little bigger pot?
@MainerMama17 ah okay I was thinking of repotting him this weekend. Hopefully that’ll help πŸ™πŸΌβ˜ΊοΈ
@Araceae well he was in the bathroom but I’ve moved him to the kitchen since he started going a bit yellow
Yes I think with some GOOD sunlight, fresh succ soil and a wipe down, he will make it!
@MainerMama17 I hope so he was so pretty! 😍

Hi Rebecca!

It looks like your plant is too close to the heating vent.

My recommendation would be to move him away from any heating system and get a good humidifier, if you don't already have one... πŸ™‹πŸ‘πŸ’•
@NobleBanana You got some good advice above. I thought it may be a water issue. Once you’ve changed the information on this plant it should help also these two plants have very different watering needs.
That is a dracaena lemon lime warneckii not a snake plant. She needs some humidity and only water every 17 days. I have 12 dracaena plants and mist every day if you don't have a humidifier. And check the roots incase it needs to be repotted
Check if it needs a repot
Perhaps an 8" clay pot, potting soil with some perlite and gravel mixed in and " of gravel in the bottom. Corn Plants like bright indirect light, a home that provides support for their roots, so about 1-2 inches of space around the root ball, and well draining soil.
