@MillRay zz plants really like being dry before you water them again. It’s tempting to water them on a schedule but it’s worth it to wait until they dry out before watering them. The pot also needs to be able to drain, so moving it to a pot with drainage will help (your note says no drainage). Third, the pot might be too big. Your note says 18”? The roots only need about 1-2 inches bigger than the rhizomes or what passes as the “root ball” for the zz. Lastly, zz’s are super slow growers so once it’s in a smaller pot with drainage, just stand by and be patient. Also, they can be “low light plants” but indirect bright light can help the plant reinvigorate itself and encourage growth. Zz plants are one of my favorites and usually the plants I recommend for new plant parents. Hopefully this helps. Hang in there!
