Does anyone know why my soil is moldy? I water according ...

#Dracaena
6ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 3 days ago
Could you give us more details?
most likely overwatering, pests or humidity
It’s literally a layer of fuzzy white on top of the soil- all four have it but two are worse off than the others. I’ve only watered once in two weeks… maybe the room is too humid? I’m new to plants so I’m not sure how to fix it :/
:(
I’m having the same issue since mine are indoors. My soil doesn’t seem to be drying out in between waters. From what I read you can stick them outside in the sun to try to get rid of the mold. For one of my plants I scrapped the mold and the top layer of my soil. Im going to stick them outside for a couple of days to see if that helps. I read you need air circulation so im going to move my spot for my plants indoors to see if it improves. I also read cinnamon helps with mold. You could try reporting them to get rid of the mold
Try bottom watering it and not watering from the top. Take it out of the decorative pot and stick the plastic pot in some water for about half an hour and then return it. Mine were going mouldy before and things are better now. Definitely take off all that mouldy layer though 🀒 and maybe change the soil if it continues? Is the soil well draining?
Thanks guys! 😍
