#snakeplant question

My snake plant sprouted a pup recently, but it seems to be growing sideways. Is there a way to get it growing upwards? Is staking it when it’s this new an option? #eagerphlox
20ft to light, indirect
9” pot with drainage

@EagerPhlox congratulations! You can prop it up with a bamboo stick or just let nature work her ways. I have one that I propped up with bamboo sticks. That might be an option for you. The other one I didn’t l, I just let Mother Nature work her ways.
Usually they grow straight in time. You can do what @KikisOasis suggested and prop it up, too. As snake plants fill out their pots, plants stand up straighter.
πŸ€ lucky I have had mine for about 8 months and it hasn’t made not one baby yet
@KikisOasis thanks for the info! I’ll try it out!! 🌱✨
@ZestfullyDwarf in time it will! I’ve had mine for 3+ years and didn’t take care of it properly until very recently and this is its first sproutling. I’m surprised it’s still alive tbh!
@KikisOasis thanks again for the advice! πŸ₯’
Im use disposal chopsticks to prop mine.
