Sounds like fungus gnats? You can put cinnamon in the pot or sand to deter the gnats, make sure the soil dries out in between watering, use neem oil or sticky traps to kill the bugs, and some really quick ways to get rid of fungus gnats is to either repot the plant, or I’ve heard it works to get these mosquito-killing pellets designed for putting in bird baths and let them dissolve in the water you give your plant. Hope your plant recovers quickly! :D

U contact the shop where u purchased and demand a refund! I certainly hope u have had this new plant quarantined so ur otger plants r safe. If u receive an infested plant, its not on u to rid the plant of the issue. The place where it was purchased owes u a refund immediatrly. Dont wait to gice them time to blame u! Do it now!
