when you touch it, are the leaves limp and wrinkly or are they crispy?
based on the black spots, I'm gonna guess crispy?
it's likely your plant is either suffering from too much light or being in too hot of conditions. Ivy doesn't like direct sunlight, were you keeping it near a window or under a grow light?
@ShinyCatasetum
I mist mine often (some people use humidifiers). It also hates drying out amd I swear it would die if I let that happen. Further, I never let the sun's rays hit it. I made that mistake early on and suffered the consequences with dry, crispy leaves that had to be removed. We're both happy today.πŸ₯°

Sorry, forgot to attach the photo of her today.
@SesameSeeds777 I put it near the window. And the leaves feel a little crispy. It doesn’t get direct sunlight but it’s always bright where it is placed. I wonder if I have to move it.
she looks a lot better today. Whatever you changed is working, if anything
@ShinyCatasetum
You mentioned considering moving your plant. That seems easy enough. If it works.....you've solved the problem!! In my own world of plants, the sun moves around like crazy and I'm often shocked when I notice a plant being hit by the sun that I swear wasn't in direct sun before. It's the same outside. Perhaps you can mist your ivy?
@plantstate I should try misting. Have not done that with my Ivy. ☺️
@ShinyCatasetum
Please update on the ivy after misting for a week or so. Hopefully you'll see a difference if you move her away from the sun's rays.
@plantstate Im gonna mist everyday. Then I’ll let you know
