Air plant browning?
Hey my airbplants is getting kinda brown and I don’t know why, is he sun burnt? Over watered/underwatered etc). Any advice is appreciated
The wire is aluminum so I don’t think that is hurting him
Air plants turning brown can be a sign of underwatering (when combined with shriveling and crispy leaves) or overwatering. Here’s a quick way to tell if your air plant is overwatered: gently squeeze the base of the air plant. Do you feel a slight resistance when you squeeze? If not, the plant might be overwatered and beginning to rot inside.
thanks he’s not squishing but I don’t want to bath him more than once a week for fear of overwatering, guess I’ll try taking him into the bathroom when I shower every morning
