Is this a bad thing?

My monstera recently made her first new leaf since I was gifted the prop, but the stem of the growth has ridges on it? Is that normal? (Sorry, it doesn’t show up great in the pic!) #MonsteraMob #monsteraaddict #PlantsMakePeopleHappy
