I wouldn’t water it and keep the watering schedule that you had. It would have stored the water you gave it from its last watering.

What @ZingGoldenhill said, I'd wait a bit to let it adjust to its new pot. Especially if the new pot is bigger, you don't want it sitting in wet soil
