Repot spider plant

Hi everyone, I found a spider plant left behind by the previous occupant. I'm going to try to make it able to rejuvenate because it's not looking very good right now. I plan to replace the hanging basket with one made of coconut fibre and use a succulent soil mix. Also I would like to know how long after replacing the pot can I prune the spider plant?
If anyone can give me some advice I would appreciate it.

P.S I'm in Auckland, New Zealand and it's summer now. Day and night temperatures are about 27℃/81℉ - 13℃/55.5℉ and the weather is sunny with very little rain. Should I put the plant indoors for a while after changing the pot or can I keep it outdoors?
Again, any suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated. #spiderplant #repot #outdoor

Congratulations on your new beautiful spider plant!! :) you can definitely keep it outside where it has been (the plant is very acclimated there at this point ðŸĪĐ). Eek! What a find!! When you upsize just do about 2-3” bigger than the root ball! Best of luck!!ðŸĪĐâœĻðŸŒą
Oh! & @wulala404 you can prune at anytime! I would do before you repot so the plant will focus on the roots more than the new spider plant babies :)
@Prentyce Okay, thank you very much!
It has split two new plants on the land next to it. But both look weak. I'm going to put the mother plant in a separate pot and the other two share one.
You're going to live!
