Curling and yellow leaves

Hello all, I’m starting to get a bit worried with my plant here. On the top the leaves look good but the edges curl to the inside a bit. On the bottom ja where my worries are. Leaves are curling in and are turning yellow followed by brown. The leaves feel weaker.

The plant stands around 50cm from the window where it gets a few hours of sun. Sometimes the door is open which brings in a breeze. I give the plant water 2 times per week and just about two hands full.

Could it be the wind, could it be the watering? I also haven’t seen new leaves apear on the top since the coloring of the leaves.

I hope you have some insights.

I also find that the lower leaves are hanging down.
To me it looks like it’s just retiring the older leaves which is normal ☺️
I have one that’s over a decade old. Cleopatra looses leaves just as yours at the bottom as part of her growth stage. Old leaves die off and soon new leaves will come.
I didn’t attach her picture but here’s my old gal.
@Pineapplemom that top leave is huge! :)
@MightyAloLover thank you. What do you think about the right leave? That’s a bit bigger. I’ll keep an eye out. Just to be sure I moved it a bit away from the window so that there is no direct sun. I also sprayed the leaves to give it some extra love
@WhizTuberouspea she’s a big gal and her blooms against my house color look amazing. I just haven’t gotten a bloom this year. I neglected to cover her the on time we had a hard freeze. She looked 100% dead until May.
@WhizTuberouspea birds of paradise can withstand direct sun. I have 4 in our yard :)
