This was given to me by a friend and I noticed it doesn’t fold up like I’ve read and heard from others. I’ve tried everything- watered, humidifier, no direct sunlight…and it looks like this. Am I going doing something wrong?

It only folds up at night. If it's new it might take a while to get used to your surroundings. Nothing to worry, but i don't recommend experimenting with a new plant too much as it can stress the poor plant to death

Usually the folding up only happens at night, so if the plant is under a grow light 24/7 it might think it’s always daytime haha. But otherwise, I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. My rattlesnake doesn’t move as much as my typical prayer plant does.
