Sunflowers dying fast!
I just got some new flowers from Stater Brothers about maybe five days ago and theyβre dying very fast. They have direct sunlight plenty of water. I donβt know what Iβm doing wrong.

It could be any number of things. @Superman asked about drainage because they should really be in a pot with drainage holes. They also need a LOT of direct sun (hence the name lol), I'm talking 6+ hours. It's also possible they're too crowded & there aren't enough nutrients to sustain all of them (overcrowding pots is a very common practice at commercial nurseries).
Then again, it might not be any of those things. Sunflowers are annuals, so it's possible they're just nearing the end of their lifecycle. If that's the case, you can collect the seeds & use them to plant your own harvest of sunflowers next season π»π₯°

@stephonicle ok thanks
@Superman no I got them at stater bros and it was already in a pot
@Jesus4life maybe transfer them into a pot that has drainage or make holes in the existing pot
@Superman how do I do that with out hurting the roots?
@Jesus4life https://youtu.be/8eJelJ7Q3ek?si=7kod998YwtcyejwP not sure if this will help but what material is the pot
@Superman itβs metal I think
@Superman itβs just that
@Jesus4life not sure sorry but maybe repot them into a pot with drainage π
