What the FLIP are these ????

So I’ve been trying to figure out what the heck these dots are, they can’t be mealy bugs because look at how evenly spaced they are. They would satisfy my inner ocd but if I knew they were harmless. And it’s only on the leaves, the trunk and stem have nothing on them. I’ve honestly stopped treating it like mealy bugs and it’s finally starting to grow non deformed leaves. It drives me crazy not to know so if anyone can shed light I would appreciate it #help #ChineseMoneyPlant #PestControl

That looks like minerals from your water leaching out of your plants pores. Quite common with these. You can give it distilled instead and they should go away. It won't hurt your plant though. So no need to worry.

To differentiate between that and bugs you can feel the leaves. Harmful bugs eat the sap and will excrete a substance called 'honeydew' which is quite sticky.

Very cute plant be the way, I have tons of these!
@SuperbRaspfern awww yay 😁 thank you, I’m glad it’s not harmful πŸ’–πŸ’–
You're welcome πŸ’•, it's always nice to give good new! 😁
Mine does the same thing. @SuperbRaspfern is right, it's minerals from the water. Filtered Brita water even helps.
@JungleKeeper oooo that’s a good idea !!!
