What’s wrong with this fella? Leaves have started turning...

#Dracaena
8ft to light, indirect
7” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 days ago
Looks like a bad case of root rot! Take out of the pot and cut off any brown mushy roots. Then treat the roots, what’s left on the bottom with 1 part peroxide/ 3 parts water to kill any leftover bacteria. Treat the pot and soil as well or else it will come right back! Best bet would be fresh soil.
The pot looks to be too big, and the soul looks to dense, they like chunky fast draining soil. And they love humidity! You can lightly spritz it a few times a week or place it by a humidifier if you have one. And check the roots for rot. If any are mushy trim them off and repot. And trip off the dying or dead leaves. It’s saveable but it’ll be slow going! Sure hope this helps!!! And welcome to the #GregFam #GreggersSupportingGreggers and glad you were not affected by the hurricane! 🐞πŸͺ΄πŸŒΈπŸ¦‹πŸŒ»
Also for the future buy a cheap bag of perlite and add it to whatever soil you are using it will help keep the soil light and airy so you can hopefully prevent root rot in the future! 🌿. I try to stay between 30-50 % perlite in ALL off my plants 🌱
Adding on to what @SuperbRaspfern said, you can use succulent soil instead. Its mix is pretty much perfect!
