Mite webs?
My Boba Bean has webs. What is this? Mites? And how do I get rid of it? Thanks in advance βΊοΈ
Hi! Yes they look like spider mites. There are lots of things you can do - neem oil, hydrogen peroxide, cinnamon, put the entire pot and plant in a βbathβ to drown them. Iβll give you the hashtag here so you can click on it and look for more too #spidermites #spidermite #PestControl
First, BREATHE. You've got this!
Dunk the plant in water. Submerge it. Spiders drown in waterπ€.
Spray everything down with alcohol (no more than 70%), then wipe down with alcohol, wiping under sides of leaves and stems. Wipe off the pot as well.
Then spray with your pest spray. I use Natria as its gentle.
Quarantine and inspect all plants. I'd give everything a spray with Natria just to be safe. Spray and inspect for a few weeks to make sure they're all gone.
If you use Neem oil, keep out of light until everything is dry, otherwise you'll burn your plant.
