Help!!!

My girl is struggling. Can anyone help identify what’s going on with her?
0ft to light, indirect
5” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
Hi @MammasaurousRex Maidenhair ferns are notoriously difficult to keep so don’t feel too bad about her struggling. It looks like the soil might be a bit too wet. They like a consistent level of moisture in their soil but not wet. When the fronds get kinda small and misshapen it can also be a sign of too much water BUT it could be that it got dried out too. Has it been in air conditioning or near a heater? You’ve got it right with indirect light and pot with drainage holes. I’m wondering if the west window is enough light for her though? It says she’s 1.5 feet away but does that spot get indirect light like all afternoon? They can’t tolerate any direct sun but they do want bright indirect light. Also I found this site which looks very informative. https://www.ohiotropics.com/2020/03/07/maidenhair-fern/
Thank you. I need to update the distance from light because I’ve moved her further from my window for those concerns. I’ll check out that site. I appreciate your feedback and insight!
