I just put my aloe Vera in a new pot today and found a couple of these stone shaped things at the bottom near the roots does anybody know what they are and should I be worried or is it normal ?

@Firestarplantz Welcome to the Greg community! I really don’t know what they are, have you tried to crush them? Or are they hard as rocks? It might just be part of the soil?

It looks like a clay ball/leca to me, if it was at the bottom the previous owner, could’ve put it there for drainage.

I agree, it looks like Leca. I mix them always with my potting mix for more drainage
