My calathea Freddie is struggling
Hi there
My calathea Freddie has been struggling for a while and it contains pests that I have been trying to treat but they always come back (they look like little white lice).
What can I do to help my calathea and how do I get rid of those pests once and for all? #CalatheaCrew #CalatheaFreddie

I think the white lice is thrip. You definitely need to wash the leaves with insecticidal soap and do a soil drench with neem mix. I’d look on YouTube for videos on how to get rid of them. It’s difficult and DEFINITELY keep quarantined.
Have you tried sticky traps yet? I have tried several different ones. These seem to be the best!

I got a Freddie that had spider mites. I used Bonide systemic insect control and wiped it down daily. I ended up losing almost the entire plant but it’s finally recovered and showing signs of new growth.
