I’ve got a legit question about my Pilea.
@ABCD I notice that you have a beautiful Pilea plant. Mine used to be beautiful. Not so much anymore. I’m not sure why my lower half is drooping but the other top half is not. Do you have any idea what I’m doing wrong? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
3ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 weeks ago

Ok so my CMP is
•4’ from a south window
•Watered about every 20d
•In normal humidity
When I bought it (2” pot) it had two discolored leaves and I trimmed those away and a couple healthy stems to keep it trim and small. I wish I could help you revert it but if you ever do, here’s how I take care of it to preserve its beauty.
Wow thank you!
What that’s not an answer 😂
Oh wait. I do really need an answer.
@strawberrymoon has a gorgeous Pilea. She’s great with these plants.
Hold on
I mean it’s like it’s got a split personality.
Having the same issue with mine, plus it’s falling over. I have to stake it.
@FreshWidow I know! And I haven’t been doing anything different. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
@TJphilobsessed Mine is a couple years old and has been through a recent move then a repot. It’s been through so much, I’m not surprised it looks a little funny. It even got sunburned a while ago. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve got pups if the mother goes too far south.
@FreshWidow mine is about 2 years old too. Old leaf age 😂
@TJphilobsessed 😂 It’s the oldest plant I have! I was so proud until I got to Greg and realized the leaves aren’t supposed to be concave or convex, but flat. Humbled. Honestly I’m thinking I might just chop it. I’m hesitating because I don’t know what I’d do with the pieces after. 🤣
@ABCD thank you for sharing this. I was wondering if it was maybe getting too much light because I had it in direct sun through the winter at less than 1 foot from the window. I have pups propping from it. But it looks leggy 🤷‍♀️ I have not repotted it. Maybe I need to.
@FreshWidow mine is the oldest plant too! I used to have several plants a few years ago but I got fed up from them dying because I didn’t know what I was doing so after they all died I didn’t have any for awhile. My Pilea was the first one that survived the last 2 years!
