What are the best conditions for false Christmas cactuses...
12ft to light, indirect
Last watered 1 week ago
@ElderBlacksage - Hello George β€οΈ
False Christmas Cactus aka Thanksgiving Cactus prefer bright indirect light, they like terracotta pots best because they will dry out better in them, and they like succulent/cactus soil! Something that is light with plenty of drainage!
This time of year they really like at least 8hrs of darkness! It helps them to bloom and or stay in bloom! You will notice a lot of people putting a box over top of them so they get the darkness they need! It sounds crazy I know, but it does work. I just put mine in a darker room and keep the lights off as much as possible!!
I hope this helps answer any questions you may have. If not, donβt hesitate to reach out again!
Good luck with your Thanksgiving Cactus π΅ and great choice on the color π
