I tie mine loosely towards the top with a gardening velcro tie so I can easily adjust, and I always leave some breathing room (like 1-2 fingers) between the trunks and the tie to allow for growth. Your little Bitcoin looks quite happy there!… πŸ€—πŸͺ΄πŸ’•
Should I retie her loosely at top?
Let that baby breathe! I'll bet you see new little leaves by the end of the week πŸ₯°πŸ˜‰πŸ˜
@PlantEsteem do money tree leaves droop a bit?
Sometimes....sounds like yours has had some trauma....could be just recovering from that.
There is new growth already
@Kwanna Nice!!! See....perking back up already. πŸ₯°πŸ˜‰
@BeesZenGarden Do people continue braiding their money trees? Like they come when we first get them? I am trying to do 2 braids with mine but usually the thinnest branch stops growing longer and I end up just twining 2 branches together and securing with twist tie til it grows that way, then moving up again. It braiding (or in my case, twisting) β€œthe thing to do” with these plants? I notice when I don’t try to braid, the branches go wild and all over the place.
@AC73LoveCats Mine is wild and sll over the place, hence the tie!… That’s a great question, I never thought about keeping up with the braiding! πŸ€” It feels cruel to me… Lol
@AC73LoveCats I was curious and went to check on mine. Lol I I tried to loosely somewhat braid it. That made me lose a few leaves that are now in a glass of water and will hopefully get roots!… 😝
