Can I propagate?
I was reporting her and a stem broke off. Can I stick it in water and will it root? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #PlantAddict #PlantShelfie #GregGang #GregFeedback #PLANTMAFIA
Cut 1/4 off the bottom and root only the top half of leaf. Enjoy!
Never mind, I lied! Peperomias are different and can be propogated from a leaf.
Yes you can propagate in water, it will just take a bit longer to grow roots! I’m currently propagating stem cuttings of a peperomia silver ripple!
@rynroxx not this one it will grow root system believe me lol
@rynroxx

The first easy way to propagate peperomia is in water. The process is very similar to that of rooting pothos cuttings in water. You simply cut off a stalk (not just a leaf) and pop it in a cup of water. Mine began developing tiny white, almost-translucent roots after about 6 weeks.
