What do i do?
I have a plant (the pothos) and i overwatered it last time i watered it and now my room is infested with bugs because its moist in the plant and they live there. Do i not water my plant or what do i do?
2ft to light, direct
7” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
@FineCacto what kind of bugs? Gnats? I would use Neem Oil on your plant. If the gnats are into the soil I recommend repotting it. I had to do that with one of my plants because the gnats were so bad. The soil was ate up with them.
@KikiGoldblatt like those tiny flies
Another option for soil gnats is hydrogen peroxide. Mix 4 parts water and 1 part hydrogen peroxide and use that when you water. That will kill any babies in the soil.

Honestly, I had them once and had just watered my plant so I put some in the tray below so I didn't have to wait until the next time I watered and the plant is fine. But, it was a risk.

To take care of the flies themselves, sticky traps are the way to go. You can place them in the plant pot or near it, either way!
