Root rot cacti, trying to save it
Not sure if this is gonna work but ? Or should I try Leca instead ?
I haven’t tried Leca for a cactus, but I have had luck rooting them right into soil. Did you let the bottom of it dry out after trimming the rot? If not I would do that first.
No I haven’t , I just put it right in a water last night. How long should I dry it out ?
Recut and let dry for at least an hour, and then I would go straight into soil. I use a regular potting soil mixed with succulent soil, wet and let drain excess off and then place plant in. If you place in indirect light and keep damp (not wet), I’ve had decent luck.
@SportyLilac thank you! I’ll try it out tonight
