Question

My plant has been growing upwards and is starting to grow roots in its sides. It not dying but its getting annoyingly taller is this normal
2ft to light, direct
Last watered 1 month ago
This has happened to me. They get tall and leggy if they’re seeking more sunlight. The root thing has happened to my succulents and I’m not sure why. Maybe the plant is seeking more water or it sees an opportunity to expand its root system. Not sure though. But don’t worry, you’re not alone!
Yes. This is definitely normal. I have a jelly bean plant that was doing the same thing a while back. It was stretching for light. I just moved it where it gets more bright direct sunlight. As for the roots on the stem, I’m pretty sure it’s seeking moisture from the air. If you want, you can cut just below the roots and propagate it after it has a few days to callous. Don’t worry, the top will regrow if you try it. Hope this helps!
It needs more light
