Dumb question
Got these two plants just yesterday and there's this little fuzz stuff at the base. I am like 99% sure its like moss or something? But I dont really know if I should keep it there?
Also not sure when/how to water these. I know succulents tend to not need as much water but Β―\_(γ)_/Β―

Woo, plants!! Looks like you got a #ZebraHaworthiopsis and a #LaceAloe
The moss isnβt really the best to have in there, especially because itβs often fake/glued on there. Succulents donβt need to keep moisture. They need to be in pots with drain holes and proper succulent soil (itβll have rocks, perlite, and other well draining materials)
The biggest killer for them is overwatering. Donβt water it every day and every weekβ¦ they can go a few weeks without water as long as you give them a big nice drink when you do water it. Usually they can be watered deeply once every 2-3 weeks. Many succulents will show signs of thirst with their leaves, theyβll become wrinkled or cave in a little/lose color so there are a few nice indications, but water them deeply when the soil is BONE dry. I like to put them in a tub of water and let them soak up the water for a while (and I gently pour some water into the top soil as they soak), but be sure to avoid getting water on the leaves as this can cause mildew. Then, let them fully drain outβ no water should be sitting in the pot. Thatβs why drainage holes are important, and you can give them a gentle shake/tilt to pour excess water out. They need to be somewhere sunny and with good air circulation to avoid rot!

Hey, they dont like normal soil holds on to too much water, use succulent soil if you can. Similar with the pot they like drainage so if you can put them in a plastic inside those nice cat ones.
Water when soil is completly dry, they can take some neglect like most succulents.
Place in a spot that gets sun and partial shade if possible. They like that.
