Has this happened to anyone else's plant before?

Why has my #Echeveria grown a mushroom?
Last watered 1 month ago
It’s fungi in the soil that’s causing the mushroom to grow. If you dislike it, you can flush the soil with a hydrogen peroxide mix to get rid of the fungi. It’s just an indicator of healthy soil.
Generally @EagerGuanacaste no, mushrooms won't hurt your plant. And @OrangeGrass is right that that means the ecosystem in the soil is good but.... A mushroom growing in with succulents in particular is not a good sign. In other plants yes, but succulents and cacti no. That means the soil is staying too moist and that's not good for succulents. The soil is supposed to dry fairly shortly after watering, otherwise you run the risk of rot. You want a terracotta pot with drainage and a chunky/gritty succulent mix to drain excess water from the roots.
Are you sure that’s the right plant ? I have a couple lipsticks and they look different . Maybe I’m wrong but could make a difference.
Thanks all. @GrownKaramu3 I think you're right. I scanned it again and now it's saying "hens and chicks"
