Browning on underside of rubber plant leaves
Help! My rubber plant seems pretty healthy except for these brown spots that are spreading. It has 4 new leaves within the past month and 4 more on the way. Does anyone know what this browning is? I let it dry out between waterings, have given it fertilizer in the watering before last, it gets about 55%-60% humidity, sits by an east-facing window, direct sun for about an hour or less, otherwise bright indirect light #RubberPlant #FicusElasticaTineke

@sarahsalith Thanks for responding! It doesnβt wipe off π₯ I actually just gave it a spray down and wiped all the leaves a few days ago and also sprayed neem oil just in case. I did the same thing a month or two ago and itβs been slowly spreading but lots of new growth. I keep Googling but canβt figure this out.
@sarahsalith Thank you! I will try that. Iβve been stressed about this so I *really* appreciate you helping me out ππ
@catalystshift not a problem at all! I want your plant to thrive. (: It's beautiful. After reading it again, I don't know why I didn't mention it first. All of my rubber trees are a bit further back from the windows.
@sarahsalith How far back are yours? Also I just looked at your plants, you have such a big and beautiful collection! I just started being a plant mom a few months ago so am new to this but have fallen in love with plants and want to make sure Iβm doing them justice
@sarahsalith This is so helpful, thanks! I will move mine a bit backπ€
@catalystshift how is your plant doing? I need tips!!
