Should I be concerned about Lefty?
Hello Greg Gang,

My new Umbrella boi Lefty doesn’t seem to be doing as well as i though he would be, I brought him back from the depths of death but now he seems to be declining again. I brought him inside due to the heat wave, and his leaves have gone from slightly yellow to very yellow and in some spots dying.

Any ideas on Lefty’s decline? #UmbrellaTree #NotSoHappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy
The most common reason is overwatering. Since it's probably getting less light it needs less water. 👍😊
The yellow looks like varigation. This definitely looks like a varigated umbrella tree. Varigation will get more defined/colored with more sunlight. The browning could be sunburn. But for the most part this tree looks great!!
@OKIEgrnthmb thank uuu

I agree with Amber. Looks like beautiful variegation to me, … with some sunburn.
I'm guessing it's a variegated umbrella, so a lot of the yellow is the natural coloration of the plant!
