Bamboo plant help!

My bamboo plant leaves are drying. I don’t understand why, I water it when the top few inches of the soil dries. Please help!
2ft to light, indirect
8” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
Here’s a list of possible problems, and their solutions. As I can’t see the pot all I can go on as it’s been 21 days since you watered it , that that maybe the problem. I like to use a soil tester on my plants to be sure that the water down at the roots is checked. Also, if there is a white powdery looking substance in the soil, that could be salt and if so, you need to water it with distilled water for a while to flush that salt out.
@FirstPlantMom I have mine in water

Make sure it's not tap water

Get water and let it sit

Hard water (tap water) is not good for this plant

I keep my water in a glass bottle

As far as the soil there I can't assist

I have never grown one in soil

Cut off all the yellowing

If the actual bamboo is yellow or brown get rid of it as well
@SucculentBE here is the photo of the pot. I check the soil before watering and the soil is moist that’s the reason the didn’t water it.
@LaBori276 thank you but mine is in soil.
Maisie is correct. This bamboo can grow in water and they also can be harmed by too much salt in the hard water. So I agree with her. You probably need to water with distilled water at least for a while.
