So excited to see it started to bloom! But as a new owner...

Some stems get long but my first instinct is that it needs way more sun/light @NattieGThumb. I'm not sure about the egg sac, I know spiders can be beneficial but, unless you've seen an actual spider it's hard to tell what kind it is. If you want to remove it, you can take a q-tip with isopropyl alcohol and spot clean it. Hope this helps.
Oh, and @NattieGThumb the water stain looking stuff, leave that on, don't clean that off. A lot of succulents have a waxy and/or powdery substance they produce on the leaves called farina. It's basically "skin protection".
You were spot on with the light! I had it in a NE facing window for a while and finally moved it to a SE window after noticing the bottom layer of leaves wilting. Itโ€™s perking up a bit now but I didnโ€™t realize that caused the flower stem length! Thanks!
Oh, yes @NattieGThumb. Eventually, the whole plant would've started doing that. It's called etiolation, or stretching. You are very welcome. You should update us and show off the rest when it fully blooms. ๐Ÿ˜
It seems like they are all blooming at different times? Fun to watch ๐Ÿฅฐ @FairyFly , should I try to collect the seedsโ€ฆ? I feel like Iโ€™ve heard that somewhere
You could, but I do believe they need to be pollinated first. Never done that @NattieGThumb.
