Hi, my sweet Willam isn’t doing good at all…does anyone k...

#SweetWilliam
2ft to light, direct
2” pot with drainage
Last watered 6 months ago
Do you keep it in that spot normally? They love full sun! (Just not scorching) It’s drooping and leggy and usually that’s from not getting enough sun. But this seems like a good spot! Maybe it’s too humid?? They don’t like high humidity. Or possibly overwatering? My last guess is that perhaps it needs a larger pot. Are the roots congested?
@Cheekz it is normally outside in the sun. But I live in Sweden so the weather changes constantly. Sunny and warm one minute and then cold and raining the next. It turned brown just a few days after buying it. The soil is extremely dry all the time. It did have another pot but the wind blew it down and broke it.
Oh! Hmm…Sweet William is a pretty cold hardy plant. But maybe the ever changing conditions have put it in shock. How long have you had it? Is that the planter it came in? Or have you repot it since it’s been home from the nursery? Have you checked its roots?
My Sweet Williams bloom and then the blooms die off quickly, and I pluck off the dead flowers to promote new growth and to prevent them from putting energy into dead blooms.

I would cut/pluck back the dead flowers and then make sure it's got enough water.

Good luck!
