How to encourage branch growth on a fiddle fig?

I have a fiddle fig that has gotten mighty tall and I would like to encourage some branch growth.... Any suggestions?
Cause right now she is just a very tall stick with leaves

@DynamoAnise50 Welcome to the Greg community! You can encourage fiddle leaf fig plants to branch out using techniques like pruning and notching. Pruning involves cutting the top of the plant or a specific stem to stimulate growth, while notching involves making shallow cuts on the trunk to encourage branching. Elaboration:
Pruning:
Pruning can help control the height of the plant and encourages branching by disrupting the flow of nutrients and hormones at the cut point. This can be done by cutting the top of the plant ("topping") or pruning individual branches.
Notching:
Notching involves making a shallow cut (about 1/3 deep) into the trunk with a sharp blade, aiming for the area where you want the branching to occur. This disrupts the plant's sap flow, which can stimulate new growth at that location. Pinching:
Removing new growth tips (buds) can also encourage branching as the plant redirects its energy.
Success Rate:
While notching and pruning can be successful, they don't always guarantee branching. It's important to understand that notching has a success rate of around 30-50%. Hope this helps, Happy Growing!
Prune the top. Nodal buds down the stem will activate then.

You can propagate the part you trimmed in water too, but it'll take ages and make you cry from how slow it is
