Money plant lost most of its leaves.
Money tree lost most of its leaves and has started to have some growth. Looking for recommendations on how to revive it.
0ft to light, direct
6β pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
Any chance itβs near a draft or being touched/brushed as you walk past? I had one do this and I had to move it away from the door (apartment building, not directly outside but it was enough to make her mad) and put it in a corner where no one could accidentally brush it - it soon took off. And they do recover really well!
Hi @GodlyCanna39! Itβs great to hear that your Money Tree is already showing some new growthβthatβs a promising sign! Leaf loss can be a stress response, often from changes in light, watering, or temperature.
Since it's in direct light and was watered recently, Iβd suggest checking for these common triggers:
1. Drafts or air movement β as @Jho mentioned, even indirect exposure to doors or vents can stress them.
2. Humidity dips β especially if itβs close to a window or heater.
3. Overwatering or underwatering β make sure the pot drains well and the soil dries slightly between waterings.
Keep conditions steady and avoid moving it too often. Tagging @CostaFarmsTeam for any additional recovery tips they recommend!

Your Money Tree is a total rockstar! Itβs clearly decided itβs here to thrive, no matter what life throws its way. The leaf drop? Just a little dramaβlooks like itβs bounced right back like a champ! Money trees are all about that bright, indirect natural lightβthink sunny but not scorching. Yours seems to be reaching out for more, so help it get that glow-up by moving it a bit closer to the light. When it comes to watering, less is more! Give it a drink only when the soil feels dry to the touch, and make sure any extra water can drain away (no soggy roots, please). Once itβs fully back in action, treat it to a spa day next springβfresh soil and maybe a slightly bigger pot. Itβll love you for it! π
